You can contact me via the forums, or via my email ( Your Message Here If anyone could give me information on how I could obtain this single (or a whole set) inlay - it would be much appreciated.Īlso if anyone could tell me the exact dimensions of the fret - that also would be much appreciated. They make white pearloid scratchplates for Fender guitars, so the material is still readily available. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I'm sure yelling enough - I can't find an inlay set to save my life. And I've been looking everywhere for a white triangular pearloid inlay - even been willing to pay for a whole set. So it's the triangular kind - not the dot kind. There's just one problem - I'm missing a White Pearloid 9th fret inlay. Now the EX-360 isn't as beautiful aesthetically as the IC-200 but personally I'm going to use it more (sentimental value and just that pure retro sound). I've had an Ibanez (obviously) EX-360 in white for just under a year now (I actually got it given to me, with an 80 watt amp too) - and I've recently gotten an Ibanez IC-200BS.

The EX series is a line of solid body electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. If you know the EX Series, the neck and 4 position give beautiful honky strat style tones, while the bridge has some great shreddiness. For a list of EX models, see Portal:EX series. Ibanez ex 360 serial number#

From what I can see this is a Peerless Serial number fro 1990 but a lot of sites say Peerless built from 1987 to 1988. Originally there were random stickers over the headstock. I am trying to work out the serial number on this EX360, it is P903529 on a sticker on the back of the head. As such I am unsure, but my gut tells me that the somewhere along the line it was given a headstock spray. I don’t recall seeing colour matched headstocks on EX series when going through catalogues. I am 99% sure that the paint on the body is original… but the headstock is colour matched. The bog chips and peeling is how it arrived. This was to stop the paint coming off more and also to help make the body smoother to hold. Related links to IBANEZ tremolo cavity plate PVC - black for SA/SAS series. The body was rubbed back where the paint was peeling and chipped – I smoothed out with 3000 grit and compound polis. SA120EX/SA160FM/SA160/SA260FM/SA360QM/SAS32EXFM/SAS32EX/SAS36FM/SAS36QM. I think it’s a Fat 10 but I am not an Ibanez expert. As these came with traditional saddled Trems (2 point) I sourced a genuine later-model Ibanez trem. I plugged the post holes and drilled for the new 10mm posts. The main issue it had was that the posts had been removed and one of the post holes has been ‘hacked out’. The paint work was as is (see the work below). This is a rescue… the point being to make it playable and maintain its history and character. Please understand this is not a “to-original” restoration. Vintage Ibanez EX: You couldn’t get a relic to look this mean… this is an early Korean (89) Ibanez with killer tone and wild looks.
